My Milan 2013

Normally I never show my private photos here on the blog but I just went through Stefans great report from Milan and I find it so generous that he always shows every step he takes so I thought I should share some of my private Milan snapshots too (all taken with my Iphone).
I always try to start off the Milan design week with lunch in the sun and some shopping at 10 Corso Como before work starts, this year was no exeption.
The first work thing I did this year was Strings stand at Superstudio...
Snapshots from Milan.
The rest of the weekend I spent at the fair where I did Lammhults stand..The tree doesn't look that big but it took some struggeling (and tip) by me and my assistant Emelie to get the 2,50 meter high cherry blossom into a taxi.
I love the atmosphere at the fair in Milan when all the stands are being put together and to be able to sneak at the news before everyone else..
On tuesday when thar fair officially opened we starded off at Li Edelkoorts nomadism exhibition for Altai.
And then off to one of my favourite exhibitions this year, Karl Lagerfelds photos from the book "The little black jacket" styled by Carine Roitfeld for Chanel.
..and Paola Lenti was fantastic as always..
On Via Durini all the major Italian brands has their impressive showrooms. Classic styling at B&B and more playful at Cassina.
 Flawless at Porro and Bulthaup.
 And some De Padova love!
Maybe this years most talked about exhibition, Moooi. Impressive and very Marcel Wanders..It isn't exactly my personal taste but I always like it when exhibitions are made fully out like this.
 Inspiring corners of the city.
 Nendo and Boffi.
I love the apartment upstairs at Boffis. So Italian. So Milan.
I think the area in Lambrate was my favourite this year, very playful, very dutch and very inspiring.
Contrasts. From Lambrate to Hermès fantastic installation.
Two other favourites...Cos exhibition by Bonsoir Paris and Rossana Orlandis private office.
At the actual fair and as always one of my favourite stands was Morosos and MDF Italias. I also loved the lamps by Michael Anastassiades (who seems to be the big IT name this year) for Flos.
Glamour from Edra and Baccharat.
Last day we escaped the fair and took a tour at Villa Necchi Campiglio, built 1932 by Italian architect Piero Portaluppi. Amazing. (Tack Daniel för att du tog med oss!)
Finally, after a very cold but inspiring week Fredrik and I rented a car and drove by lake Como and had a fantastic lunch in the sun followed by two magic days skiing in Engelberg with no clouds, no, wind, no people and great snow.

That was it!

Bedroom love

I have been travelling for two weeks now so I have my head full of inspiration and my desk and inbox full of work. Until I have time to go through all my Milan pics and post an update here on the blog I give you a lovely bedroom that I found over at Josefins blog. Sweet J has been taking care of the shop while I was away, thank you for that!
